Founded in 1791, the Albany Institute is the oldest museum in New York State.
This museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving and promoting interests in
the history, art, and culture of Albany and Upper Hudson Valley Region. It also
features changing exhibits, workshops, art classes, educational programs, and
the McKinney Library which includes over 50,000 manuscripts and documents.

This museum offers the opportunity to explore the natural and cultural evolution
of New York State. Realistic settings and lifelike human figures, along with
photographs and video presentations, allow visitors to see how people lived in
the past.

Exhibit, New York Metropolis Fire Fighting Exhibit, Dinosaur Discovery Center.
